A Bit About Me

I embarked on my career in the electrical trade in 2005, beginning my journey as a contractor in Louisville, KY, equipped with basic tools. Over the subsequent twelve years, I developed my expertise as a lineman, a role that, while rewarding, often demanded significant time away from my family.

In 2017, I experienced the profound joy of welcoming my son, followed by the birth of my daughter in 2019. However, shortly after her arrival, we faced the daunting news of her diagnosis with Tetrasomy 18P, a genetic condition that impacts development. Although the initial reaction was filled with uncertainty and heartache, we gradually adapted to this new reality and embraced our unique journey.

The year 2022 proved to be particularly challenging, marked by the loss of a close friend, the complexities of single parenthood, and the passing of my mother. These experiences tested my resilience, yet my commitment to my children provided the strength to persevere.

In a pivotal moment, I received an opportunity for part-time work within the local electrical trade, which reignited my passion for the field. This led to the acquisition of a bucket truck and subsequent promotion to a management role within the company. During this time, I also had the opportunity to lease my truck to contractors, further expanding my professional horizons.

By 2024, I achieved a long-held aspiration by expanding my fleet of trucks, culminating in the establishment of my own electrical company, Powerful Restorations. Our firm specializes in storm response and routine maintenance of the power grid.
